Before the wedding day, we will schedule a consultation with the couple to discuss their vision for their wedding video and to get to know them better. We will also discuss any specific shot requests they may have, as well as the logistics of the day such as the schedule and locations of the ceremony and reception.
On the day of the wedding, we will arrive early to capture the preparations for the ceremony, such as the bride and groom getting ready, any pre-ceremony traditions, and any other candid moments.
We will discreetly capture the ceremony from multiple angles, including shots of the bride and groom, the wedding party, and the guests. Finishing it up with a grand exit with you walking back down the isle with one last kiss in the middle
After the ceremony, we will capture photos/footage of the couple’s formal portraits, as well as any other post-ceremony activities such as the cocktail hour.
During the reception, we will capture photos/footage of the couple’s entrance, speeches, first dance, open dancing and any other special moments that arise.
After the wedding, we will edit the photo/footage to create a final video that tells the story of the couple’s special day. The final video/photos will be delivered in a format of the couple’s choice (digital or physical) and will include a highlight reel, full video, social media edit, and raw edit depending on the package.
Wedding video editing takes time, typically 4-6 weeks, to ensure a high-quality final product that tells the unique story of the couple’s special day. This includes reviewing all footage, selecting the best shots, adding special effects and sound, and making revisions based on the couple’s feedback. Taking the time to carefully edit the video ensures that the couple will have a polished and tailor-made film that they will treasure for years to come. The end result will be a reflection of the time, effort and creativity invested in the process of creating a beautiful video.
While a highlight reel is a great way to quickly show off key moments from the day, it’s not always possible to fit everything into a 3-5 minute clip. Having access to the raw footage allows the couple to see all of the unedited footage and to choose their favorite moments to include in the final edit, if they desire. Overall, delivering raw footage allows the couple to relive the memories of their special day in a more comprehensive way.
After a wedding, it typically takes 2-4 weeks for the final photo edits to be delivered to the couple. This is because the photographer needs time to carefully review and edit all of the photos that were taken on the wedding day.
Editing includes tasks such as cropping, color correction, and retouching, which takes time to ensure that each photo is of the highest quality. Additionally, photographers often take hundreds, if not thousands of photos on the wedding day and the process of going through them all, selecting the best images and editing them to perfection is time-consuming.
Furthermore, the photographer might want to do multiple rounds of review with the couple to make sure they are satisfied with the final product. This process of selecting and editing images, especially in large quantity, can be time-consuming, but it also ensures that the couple will have a beautiful collection of memories that they can cherish for a lifetime.
